Right on, if my dreadful brass one from MikesXS starts leaking again ill have to look at getting one of these.

Hi lowlife, fox,
Mikes brass tee seals with O-rings. If that's the leak, remove the tee, replace the O-rings, Q-tip the cab bores and try again.
If the leak is where the tee is pressed together; pull the tee apart, polish the joint surfaces, press the tee back together then soft solder the joint to seal it like they should have done at the factory.
And yeah, you shouldn't have to mess around like that, but as you already bought the damn thing you have to protect your investment.

Yea Fred, I had to mess around with different O-rings to get mine to seal properly. My carbs were freshly bead blasted at the time so the carb bores were as clean as could be. Its fine now, just in the future if it gives me more trouble I may switch it out if there is a better alternative.

The key to sealing any of these is to press the carbs together enough so the "T" won't easily rotate by hand, then tighten the top and bottom brackets to hold them there. If you can easily rotate the "T", it's gonna leak. Here's an old original and it sealed up fine with the proper pressure applied. As long as the rubber coating is intact, they should seal. And although I haven't tried it yet, I'm thinking a repair for one with bad rubber might be as simple as applying some shrink wrap tubing to the bad ends .....

luckily, these went in easily. I VERY lightly greased the o-rings to keep them in good shape and it made for an easy fit. it does not easily rotate by hand, but you can still move it if need be. I think it will do a great job, but that's for the next owner to figure out, as they shipped today.

Thanks for the link to the fuel tee. Just ordered it.

I bought the mikesxs tee and have been fighting with it ever since.

I actually got it to not leak once by using the clamping method but a few days later it was leaking again. Not good.

After all the time and money I put into building the bike, I really don't want to see it burn to the ground over a lousy quality leaky fuel tee.

Just got one of these too, fits perfectly. I contacted the seller about the o-ring size in case they ever need to be replaced (it comes with 4). The o-rings are 2mm x 5.

WOW!!! I just checked out the site for the fuel tees (using the zoom feature), and boy do they look beefy-weefy! (not tinky-winky like others...) I hope they still have some when I'm ready...
