Help Me Get This Running!

Bought this bike some time back now and really haven't gotten around to getting it running. Im down to wiring the thing and I have been looking for two new carburetors.



I ran across this video and was wondering if this would be how I should wire up my 79 xs? All im looking to power is the headlight, tail, and ignition.

As for caburetors I saw this kit on mikexs:

The XS Performance Keihin Carb Kit. But I see it says 1980 to 84 stock Mikunis. This kit is pretty much what im looking for since I need pretty much everything included. Does anyone know of a similar kit that would work on the 79?

Those carbs will bolt right on. There has been a thread on them already, and they sound like they work well. There is a bunch of wiring threads on this site as well if you search around. Here's the one I based my 79 off of.

I think the Keihin PWK "is a superior replacement for 80-84 BS34 carbs and your worn out BS38's". Thats what Mike's says. The Dellorto's will fit all years but you need the 80 up carbs holders.
