I am so close to getting my project up and running. I’ve custom wired everything up using a motogadget m-unit and I have an XS Charge kit with the E-Advanced ignition. I am having trouble restoring spark. I have three wires coming from the e-advancer box; green, red, and black. I have two wires coming from the terminals on the ignition coil; blue, and black and white. How do these get wired together? Where does battery power enter the system?

I have the same set up. Below is my wiring diagram.

E - advance green goes to coil blue
E - advance black goes to ground
E - advance red goes to coil black/white and m-unit aux (via the kill switch if you are using one)
Battery connects to the m-unit positive terminal. You should have a fuse between the battery and the m-unit

Whoa...that's a great looking wiring diagram...very clean and looks professional--something you'd see in a manual, nice job drawing that out.

I suggest you take continuity readings between all connections and voltage readings at all connections, post them and, hopefully, the experts on the forum will chip in. Do you have your own wiring diagram you can post? Photos help as well. When did you buy your ignition unit and from where? There has been a lot of discussion lately about Pamco fakes.

Hey peterg wow very nice diagram. Looks like art!
I am thinking of the m unit down the track and and any chance getting a download attachment on here?
Some great work buddy.
