I love those. I wish they had continued but they must not as sold as many as they wanted? In any case they seem to be holding their value.
I have more Kawasakis than Yamahas but that KZ750 twin is as ugly as sin. My KZ400 is pretty good looking though...

Being carbureted, I think it may have run afoul of tightening EPA emission regulations that meant more sophisticated A/F ratio management, i.e., computer-controlled fuel injection. If so, Kawasaki management would have to decide if market acceptance at that time was sufficient to support the added cost for US bikes, especially if carbureted models were still salable in other markets. Just my guess -
 
I bought a 2007 Triumph Bonneville America new. It was the last of the line of carbureted Triumphs, it was a really sweet running bike.

Nice look'n bike.... they pop up here on occasion....always pricy... Suzuki had a 650 Twin.. Templar.. 2 yrs, mid 80's... ? I'd like a blue one with wire wheels.
