My noob question thread.

I noticed this on my right side case last night. Down where the tach cable comes out it looks like a weld to fill a hole was made. Also it looks like another is on the bottom in the same area. Is this normal? Should I try and find another case?

That's normal. It's not a weld, it's some sort of filler. There are passageways in the case that need to make a 90° turn. To do that, they were drilled from the outside then capped off.
