Never noticed any clutch slip but after no rides for 3 weeks, I took the bike out for a putt around the block, just to keep all things happy.
Noticed some slipping while accelerating that came at much lower RPMs than I normally ride at...could this be due to inactivity?
Or is it just time to replace stock springs and possibly friction plates while I'm in there.

After some non use I like to pull the clutch lever in and kick the bike over a few times to free up the clutch plates. You will know it when they free up....

Yes , you kick the engine over while in neutral . and the clutch lever pulled in. The engine will turn over as usual with lots of compression. Until the clutch plates "free up" and the kick lever will flop to the floor.

Idk what it is but I've had that happen. like yourself I was thinking about what the next step is, the next ride it was fine.. It always slipped in the higher gears when I get on it.

See how she goes next time out. I think it will be fine. Seems when I let it sit a week or so it slips, I thought for sure I was guna have to do some work and next ride it was back to normal. Did you do a recent oil change?
