Decent 11s come up for sale around here once in awhile. Are parts still around for them? I seem to remember members talking about parts drying up when I was a member years ago, out of general interest in the machines.

Parts aren't available as they are for the XS650, but there are some. XJ4ever.com has been picking them up a bit. I have over 100,000 miles on mine, so it's a good machine if you can find one that hasn't been trashed.

I recently restored a 79 XS1100. $200 garage sale "special" that I had planned to part out but after testing the engine and tearing apart the bike, I couldn't resist putting it back to good/restored running condition. Thing runs awesome now. Amazing how fast these old bikes are. I tried to become a new user within the xs1100.club site, but when I registered it stated an email would be sent to confirm/authorize my account, but that email never arrived. Probably a bug in the new forum. If there is a way to communicate with the admin of that site, it would be helpful. A few pics of the restored bike. Nice addition to the "XS" stable. thumbnail_20200624_141040 (1).jpgthumbnail_20200624_141000.jpgthumbnail_20200624_141040.jpg

You got it with the Jardine spaghetti pipes on it? Very nice!

Yes, I didn't know what I had until I started researching and learned those are coveted pipes to have. They had a few holes that I had to weld up, but are now solid. The chrome wasn't in the best of shape so wound up painting and wrapping.
