Yeah. The US taxes wage earners. Since the wealthy aren't on a payroll.... I've been hating on our system as long as I've been aware of how it works. Middle class workers carry the brunt. I'm going to walk away from this thread now and go to the garage.

Same over here Marty, average wage earner and small contractors bear the brunt. Being a sole operator, the system makes it so hard it basically forces us out onto a wage.........The best claim i had was my dog, (all 16 years), as i didn't have a lockable trailer, the dog was classed as a watch/guard dog for my tools hence a tax deduction........all expenses, Vet, (a couple of major operations included), all food,including nail clippings to ribbons in his hair, could be claimed..........he went every where with me and on a couple of jobs in the Torris straits, all airfares and such were claimed...........

Ha, Ha, lol...........yea i have been using it for information purposes only........The Protests and the clips got me sucked in..........That clip has been engineered for sure, just made a point about dodging the system and made me chuckle

Try disgust..comtempt..I have no envy..no desire to or want...dont put your expectations in my mouth...
The only simple minded envy i have about that car...........is..........i wish i was young enough to get in and out of it without affecting my sciatica, rickety knees, lumbago, and all these other age related afflictions.........like a cast fish flopping around on the ground trying to get out of that..........
I'm sure lots of my jobs have come out of a rich guy's tax dodge -- I like the idea of some of that coming to me instead of going to the govt. Plus I think I read that if everyone was taxed at the same rate the difference in total revenue would be tiny
