It's possible there's a relationship tween that and your limited choices.

That may have more to do with the size of the market that the consumer laws........ 650Trader said........the world market is only 20% more than Mike L's US market...

not so much LOL

Well, you do want to live near the arctic circle......doesn't look like fun.....at least you can put more clothes on or sit nearer to the heater...........hard to get away from the heat........No air-con in my house, being 2 story and trees close to the house helps to keep the heat down and bearable.

In NZ we used to get a lot of Sleet at certain times of the year......prayed for snow then. lol

And here on time well packed exactly as ordered.
Quick look all parts look good Pistons marked Taiwan.
Shipped with an extra set of rings (there was a set of rings in the piston boxes.) Will do some measuring tomorrow.
So far

That does look really nice! Love the pistons. Looks like you spent your stimulus check! :laugh2:

Cleaned off the "cosmoline", checked skirt to bore with feeler gauges, right at .002" I think the piston coating front and rear a good idea? That's what always looks so scuffed on engine tear downs. Front guide inserts look, thread in good. About the only ding I have to mention is that I would work the top edges where the bore meets the deck with a bit of fine paper before assembly, a few sharp burs seen/felt there.
