Starter help please

Ok folks, first time poster im Biggs im riding a xs650 chopper motor is 1982 -
750cc big-bore kit by Smedspeed
Standard XS650 head
Mikuni TM34 Flatside carbs with custom manifold by Smedspeed
Velocity stack air intakes by Steel Dragon Performance

However the entire starter motor has been removed (not uncommon I know) this included all the gears the 2 under the starter motor case and further up, I’m trying to find somewhere midlands based that can carry out the work to replace this ? I have spoke to smedspeed but unfortunately communication is not great from there end to even getting a price or anything set to get this done.

I rebuilt my Machine and forgot to install the parts for it .. I was going for kick only
And it is a big Job do it afterwards
It can be therefore no price is given The job may well cost what the bike is worth.
So shops here don't want to work on older machinery Definitely not electric problems .
Especially not this time of year when other business is picking up
Regular shop prices and Many Hours .Resources the can be needed for servicing new Customers quicker

If you have a good relation with a shop they might .just might take it in the winter.
Here there sometimes are retired mechs I have heard of that are doing these type.
