Howdy All.
I was thinking about 6V curb lights for lack of a better name. Would the yellow form the alt be enough?
Would it hurt anything to draw from it constantly?
Voltage will vary with RPMs I'm guessing, but what's the range from idle on up?
Just pondering a use for it.
Thanks. JD

Don't really know the answer. My intuition says that since it's (yellow wire) tapped from the center of a 3 leg bridge, all it's seeing is residual voltage... for lack of a better way to describe it. So no, I don't think so. it's designed to trip 2 relays that prolly don't pull 100ma between 'em. I doubt it'll put out much more than that.

I think the better, and easier solution would be to find 12v curb lights and wire 'em up normally.

Thanks all. Thinking fog lamp height, may be even amber lenses.
Not as much for for fog but to give me some peripheral light, lots of critters here.
I'm working out a simplified wiring schematic borrowing off one @inxs has in the tech forum,
just wanted to know if it would work before I drew it in. If not I'll run a 12v from the BAT with a separate switch.
