NGK'S A PLENTY !

I sure hope these are BP7ES plugs and not the BPR7ES (resistor) ones. Some places are substituting the resistor ones for the plain ones because that's what NGK says is the replacement. Like I said, I hope not, lol, because I ordered a dozen Saturday afternoon shortly after reading this thread. They've been shipped and should be here Thursday, so I'll let you know what I get. I'm hoping everyone else will let us know what they get as well.

'zactly...I ordered BP7ES' from Amazon going by their ad. Even had the 1034. They sent me 2 boxes (8 plugs) of BPR7ES'. Of course they sent me an email wanting to know how my delivery went. I TOLD them of the 'mistake'. They insisted that the plugs were the SAME. I explained and sent them back. Then in a few days, I got credit for 2 plugs!. After 2 months going back and forth with me telling them that the person whom opened my return didn't know what a sparkplug was and there were 4 plugs in each box. I even spoke (finally) personally to a fella about this. He finally relented (I guess) and gave me the entire refund in CREDIT!, not to my card. I ordered something else from them and cleared my credit. I also deleted my card from my file with them.
I hope all of you get the correct ones...

Just ordered some too. $1.05 Cdn each. I normally run the iridium plugs but these are way less expensive. But $12.09 shipping☹️
I was just thinking about this recent purchase. I have been running resistor type plugs and in the process I removed and threw away the resistor spark plug wire caps. I’ll try digging through my parts stash to see if I can find anything before I go out and but a pair.

Tony, did you get the plugs you ordered yet and if so, are they indeed the BP7ES plugs, not the BPR7ES (resistor version)?

There's are several areas within their site, sometimes you get different or conflicting finds. Since it mainly deals in autos I think I went to brands or possibly universal parts and began my search there. Good luck, it can be confusing navigating it's a large site.
I searched NGK. 1034 no longer comes up. I have four plugs on the way. Four is far better than none.

Has anyone checked the tracking yet? Mine shows the order is still in Sugarland TX awaiting USPS pickup.:wtf:

Mine shipped from Sugar Land (via FedEx) and are now in Kentucky. Supposed to be here Thursday.

I ordered 5. 4 are USPS from McCook, IL and one via DHL from Middlesex, MA.

My first one arrived. Looks legit, but I’m not sure I could spot a counterfeit one as I’ve never known the difference. Stamped made in Japan. Marked BP7ES.
Saw a Youtube video a while back... showed you what to look for. Very, very, very subtle differences... which is how they get away with it I guess.
Maybe search Youtube for "NGK counterfeits."

I bought a pack of four BP7ES recently here in the UK. There's no doubting they're genuine NGK. The box is printed made in Thailand. That's not a surprise really as Thailand now has a large motorcycle manufacturing industry these days.

My plugs are in Chicago so I’ll most likely get them next week.

I watched several YouTube vids on fake Ngks. Many of the vids were focussed on iridium knockoffs. The one vid I watched compared Chinese NGK’s to those made in Thailand. My take away was they were most likely built in China for Chinese distribution only and someone was selling them outside the country. Does this necessarily mean that the plugs are no good? The construction of the plug is quite simple and if not using exotic metals as used in the iridium plugs, perhaps even Chinese production are still good, usable plugs.

Considering the price we paid, we’re all winners in this deal, regardless of the country of manufacture. The Chinese NGK plant must be held to some quality standards too.

I ordered the plugs and the shipping was considerably more expensive than the plugs. I was in a hurry and hit it. The day before yesterday, I hit Rock Auto again. I stocked up on Wix filters for everything I have that needs a filter and spark plugs for the cars as well. The first box showed up this morning.

I also bought windshield wiper blades for my daily driver at less than $3 per pair! Whenever I can plan a maintenance event, Rock Auto is the first place I check.

:agree:

Last fall my daughter clipped a mailbox with the mirror of her Honda Pilot. Local dealership wanted almost $400 to replace it, not including paint matching. I found one on RockAuto for $80 plush shipping. It was straight plug and play with the power adjust, heated lens and turn lamp all included. It came in a black gel-coat, which was a perfect match for the rest of her car. I installed it in 15 minutes in the driveway.

Like Marty, RockAuto is always my first stop for replacement parts! They ship fast too.
