ok. i've ordered swing arm bushings, neck bearings and wheel bearings, if it still sucks, i'll get the wheels looked at and maybe some new tires.

So I finally got my bike running. I actually rode it for the very first time yesterday. The new VM34s from 650central work great, the drag bars are comfortable, but it wobbles pretty bad. It's not vibrating like the wheels are out of balance (no more than usual anyway), but it's almost like it...

As far as the wiring diagram, I did the same thing with my handlebar switches. I thought I saw a wiring diagram somewhere before I ripped them out of the packages. I looked everywhere and they were just printed on the back of the cardboard packaging.

Good advice. Thanks Turned out, the battery wasn't putting out enough power. I just had to run the bike for a bit and the turn signal works fine. My handlebar ground connections are ridiculous right now. Literally wires hooked together and held by gravity and luck. :)

Really cool looking build. I really like the welded-back-on footpeg mounts. I would be pretty nervous with that seat and no rear fender though. I like the pipes too. I'm probably gonna steal some ideas once I work up the courage to start cutting my bike.
