I also found this one with a Savage tan,amongst a bunch of other Savage parts.I think it belongs to somebody on here.I was going to do mine like this because I do a lot of Savages.But he beat me to it.

Here is a Frisco mount Sporty tank on one of mine with a TC Bros hardtail Here it is dropped down a little. A Suzuki Savage tank.It also has the speedo in the tank.

April update.Not much new.Got the engine back in the frame.Trying to catch up from a nasty Ohio winter,at the shop.Kinda losing interest in it.Need to get something done,sold my Savage bobber I've had for 14 years.

Probably should put it in the classifieds.And an introduction first.

Absolutely 0 accomplished.This winter is killing me.And it's still here.Finally starting to warm up.

I'm not sure I'm going yet.But I might bring the XS and try to sell it as a complete package.Don't really want to sell it,but this winter has hit me hard at the shop.Trying to keep it going.

Yeah maybe.Was thinking about bringing a couple bikes and some parts.

Chopper,short chop,bobber styles.Anything except a bagger with a 30" front wheel.

Nothing much new this month.I think I'm going to shorten up the frontend.It's a Shadow 600 forks and wheel.Noy going to be able to use the Shadow rear wheel.Too wide.It's a 170 tire and the hub is way too wide.:banghead:

I just realized I haven't posted for Jan. yet....Not much progress this month.Just trying to figure out how to make a VLX frontend work on the frame.:banghead:

Finally got my frame welded.Deciding to go long or not.Gotta put the short frontend on and see if I like it.Not sure if the back wheel choice is going to work.Hub is pretty wide.From a VLX600

Well,not much to talk about.Still gotta get my money in.Hit a deer and totaled the car...Liability only.Picked up the frame from the welder today.Trying to get the tire I want to fit,but I'm thinking no go.Unless I can find somebody that can machine the flange down where the sprocket bolts...
