    I did a compression check ... cold, left = 90, right = 120. Hot, left = 120, right = 120. looks like a top end rebuild will be coming this winter.

    I have not rechecked the head bolts, but I have upgraded the ignition to a new single coil PAMCO. I'll be looking into retorquing the head.

    Is there a way to check voltage coming from the PMA, before the reg/rec? Just to make sure that it is working properly? BTW, this is what I found after the ride ... wires literally just fell out of the connector! Also, who produces the PMA kits that Mike's XS sells?

    Replacement turn signal (flasher) relay has two prongs, not three

    After reading this post this explained why my dual filament 23w/8w bulbs didn't flash. I went to Advance Auto and bought the two prong #552 relay, and it worked like a charm. Thanks for all of the R/D!

    Stock sidestand replacement, shouldn't be rocket science ?!?!

    Thanks again for the imput, I turned the post around and the sidestand works like a charm. Now I'll be able to ride without worry of the sidestand dropping down! :bike:
