Another question... can I try to straighten the rim by tightening the spokes with the wheel on the bike or should I take it of?

I am still new to a lot regarding bikes. So if I wanted to take my bike out, with the 75 alloys on it, onto the highway and do between 60 and 70 mph, how much would it affect my handling? Also would I be able to run my current tire on the 75 rim, 100/90-19, and would I have to change the rotor?

My bike has chromed steel rims, based on the pictures it looks like it's steel as well.

I did some research and it looks like the 194 bulbs are 14v not 12v. I think this may have something to do with my issue. Advance auto carries the led equivalent for $10/pr and they are 12v.

Another question then. When I checked the ac voltage at the stator end of the connector, without the reg grounded, I got no reading at all. Does that mean that the stator is bad or should I recheck with the reg grounded?

I rewired my 81 yesterday, finished right before I went to work, now all my lights, horn, etc work on my battery charger. Nothing excpet tail lights worked before the rewire. This is with me turning the key to the on position only. I have no battery for the thing yet.

I don't see any tee between the carbs other than one coming from the air filters. Nevermind, I foud it using my flashlight...is a bit hard to get to though. Thinking of putting in an inline filter between the petcock and fuel tee.

I don't know of any bonus taillight. There's a license plate light as well as a taillight.
