    Stupid crescent shapped oil filter. Where do you get em.

    I ordered filters for my bike and got round oil filters. Mine are crescent shaped, Where do you get the crescent shaped filters from? I dont want to do a spin on filter, but really hate that my oil filter is somehow hard to find.

    Fork tube diameter. I want to buy clip on bars for my 79 XS cafe racer project. I dont have a micrometer here at teh house. Does anyone know what dismeter the fork tubes are for buying clip ons?

    What carbs do I have 1979 or 1980

    Guy I boughtmy 1980 from said he cant femember if these carbs came off a 1979 or 1980 model XS 650. they are Mikuni vacuum slide carbs with round slide. Here is a pic of the burty beats if it helps at all. they are soaking to clean , but I need to order rebuild kits and floats for them as one...
