    Header pipes

Wow! Sorry about the trade war. There's a couple posts about making stubby baffled pipes on here. I adjusted the plans to work on my 2-1 exhaust. Around $30 in parts and a fun afternoon of fabricating. Good luck

    MikesXS slider carbs leaking

Had a similar problem after rebuilding carbs on my (don't be offended) '67' CB77. Everything worked fine until I put the bowls on. The bowl gasket was sticking out just enough to catch the float on the left carb. Just some more food for thought. Good luck!

    Supplier of Small Ammo Boxes

Got my ammo can from Rural King (11"X7 3/4"X6"). Fit my battery and all my electronics except the coils. Turned it so the hatch is facing the right side with the hinge on top. I've got the TC Bros. hardtail on mine too. That's the only way I could make it work without chopping up the can. Good...

    What carbs are these?!?!

Gotcha boss. Got it right here and it's pretty tight, no play. The needle looks good too. My 64 CB77 had pits all over the needles when I got it. Hey thanks for all the tips Gary. Pickin up a 79 XS400 in a week or two!

Any baseline jetting suggestions for running a single BS38? Haven't settled on 2x1 or 2x2 exhaust yet. Either will be baffled to some degree. Just need a starting point I can go from. Thanks for all the other info!!!

    What carbs are these?!?!

yup early BS38. They match the pics Terrible1 posted. Thanks for the quick responses guys. Another question, would one by itself be enough to power this thing in a 2-1 setup?

    What carbs are these?!?!

Got a pair of Mikunis with a 77 XS650 I picked up a while back. The only identification on them is SOLEX stamped on the diaphram cover on top. The enriching circuit is only linked by a hose between the two carbs. There aren't any bosses underneath to mount the two together on the typical angle...

    regulator rectifier

How ya doing RG? Just to clarify, I have a 77 and have fabbed up the rectifier already. I got my regulator from Advance today. When I wire this assembly in, I won't have to isolate the brushes with nylon screws will I. Again I have a 77 alternator, trying to use your reg./rectifier setup.

    welding questions

What's good guys? I'm using a Lincoln "Tombstone" with DC+/DC-. I can switch from TIG to stick with the flip of a switch. I run straight Argon and use ER70S rod for most of my projects. I built my own rigid frame for my first bobber (64 CB77) with 3/4" gas pipe from Lowes. I too would recommend...
