The size you are referring to is just the diameter of the rim. If its 16" across, you have a 16" tire. Also, i thought all tires were required to have markings.

Right now I am hoping to just change up the look of the bike a little bit and get it road worthy (fully functioning lights and good tires) so I can maybe ride it just a bit yet this year but mostly get it ready for next spring. Looking for a seat, something in good shape that doesn't go past...

I have a spare master cylinder and lever since I swapped that all out on my XS. It was painted black but might be flaking. Mine's an 80 special so I'm not 100% sure it will work for you

I had actually read that. I will reread it again. Any recomendations on stainless cables? I see kits to make it exactly the length you need, and custom length premade cables from a few places.

exactly what i meant. haha.. Looking at an xs11 disc on eBay - probably go ahead and get that to save the work of drilling holes. Vesrah brake pads and caliper parts ordered from mikesXS

Tips/Recommendations on cleaning the filters? I'll take some degreaser to the sump cover, it's so dirty. Probably do the bottom of the engine a bit to try and get it cleaned up so I can figure out where else it leaks. Ordering just the gaskets then.

I think my plan of action is to look for an xs1100 disc in good shape, get some better pads (mikesxs has some nice looking replacements) and get it all put back together. Already swapped the bar to a shorter straighter bar that I took of my other bike when I changed it out, so the brake lines...

Took off the sump cover and filters today to see if there was anyting to be concerned about, and hopefully stop oil leaking from both places. Anything I should be concerned about here? From the looks I think I should replace both filters, and gaskets. Does the banjo bolt on the...
