    Made a seat today. Still fighting with the rear ferring. Stripped the electronics and bolted on an old 50s truck lamp. Posted via Mobile

    Well...the build has started. My first XS650 and very excited! Here's a pic. '78 Special. Last time it was regesterd was 1991. Spent the weekend going over it, fixing the POs electrical nightmare and getting it ready to fire...and it did! Posted via Mobile

    Help with broken engine part ID needed

    Hi all. First post. Excited to be part of the group. I just picked up a '78 Special to build. I dropped the oil and found a broken internal parts attached to the rear magnetic plug. Wondering if anyone has any ideas on ID ing it before i get ready to start it up.
