Hey all! Sorry I'm sure this question has been asked before, but I looked through the tech section about front fork swaps. I don't understand it all, but I would like to know if anything will easily just swap in? Inverted forks are what I'm after.
When I bought mine I had a similar issue but with a horrible idle. My pilots were completely corroded shut. If your pilots are partially blocked you could maybe maintain an idle but lose all power off bottom?
I'd check everything girzld had said. He knows his stuff and helped me get mine going...
In my book it shows leaded or unleaded fuel can be used in my '80 xs...
I don't know what to use, I haven't seen my head and if it has hardened seats or not.

I've read on here something about "golden" wheels, meaning really sought after wheels. What wheels would that be? How do you tell if you have them or lower quality wheels? Finally, what makes them so "golden"?
