@RedRyder You know, I have liked it in every color so far. Even the terracotta color of the other primer I had used looked good... haha hopefully the color I went with looks good as well.
Thanks for the responses. I'll check what the removed plug is, but the engine is entirely stock. Nothing has been altered and it's got 13k miles on it with no real issues. I'm doing all of this work in a an airplane hangar and the mechanics helped me inspect the engine with a video scope. We...

This is after a complete teardown, powder coating, lot of cleanup, re-assembly, trimming fenders, lots of bondo, priming, sanding, making a mold for the old seat pan, making a new fiberglass one, etc...
Basically where she is at today. Seat done, headers wrapped, wiring 70% complete, priming, sanding and prep for paint complete. Trying to pull her all together in the next few weeks.
Dad bought this bike new in 72, rode it a lot, and then it went into storage and sat through a few hurricanes. We got it back running and I rode it a bit but always wanted to put more work into it. Well, here I am. Got a ton of hours into it and still going!
