yup. Didn't realize it wasn't aligned until it was too late.

I found one on ebay, but its like 50 bucks at the cheapest. I have to piece, but its a little bent. Is it worth it to try bending it back into place, or should I just bite the bullet and but a new piece?

so it looks like that one big tach gear is wobbly. I believe its that bolt that goes through that is bent. Is it something special I have to order and, if so, anyone know what its called? I don't have a gear puller the right size, so I'll be making one here tomorrow for it, so I will know a...

I took off the cover, and the return spring was not unhooked. Something else is preventing it from returning. I think it might be the tachometer gears

I don't think it did. Like I said, it works just fine when the cover is off.

So I had a stuck clutch so I fixed it and got a new gasket and everything. My problem now, is that the kick starter sticks when used. It ONLY does this when I have the cover on, so I'm thinking its stuck on something preventing it from going back up. I'm at a loss as to what to do though. Anyone...

I need the pin thing that attaches to the steel band. I have the smaller one, but need the one for the other side. I didn't see it in the diagram there, so I'm not quite sure what to search for.

I am working on a 1970 xs1 650's carbs, and I've run into a little problem. I can find the kits for em, but none have the diaphragm I need. Anyone know where to find that? I looked on partzilla, and they are "unavailable". Part number is 256-14916-19-00. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
