You can also check that motor ground is good.

Is that chain the same length as the old chain? You need the chain a little lose because as the suspension compresses the chain will get tighter. The chain will brake apart if its to tight.

It could be a bunch of things. If the coil is getting power check the plugs and the gaps. Make sure the battery is also good still.
