I adjusted the floats and it seems to have fixed a lot of problems, but now it is backfiring from a lot from the left cylinder when I let off the throttle? And I can hear a light rhythmic knocking sound on the same cylinder, how do you check valve clearance?

So I just finished my bike and have had a couple issues with it, it starts and runs great, but after I ride id for about 30-40 minutes and turn it off it doesn't want to start back up. It doesn't seem like a fuel issue, and at first I thought maybe it wasn't charging but I checked the leads...

So I tried using a capacitor with this swap and my bike would not fire, then I used one of those small .8ah 12v batteries and it was dead after 10 min of riding, so now I'm back to a regular battery. Does this mean something is wrong with the system? Or do those small batteries just not charge...

I've come up with a pretty solid way to do it while keeping a cable, I'll put pics up when it's done, hopefully tomorrow afternoon :)

Has anyone set up a foot clutch on TC Bros forward controls? I'm trying to figure out a way it could be done but am at a loss :/ Any help would be great!

So I'm currently building up an 81 Special w/ TC Bros hardtail and all the parts are coming off an xs that someone turned into a chopper and all but destroyed that frame in the process. I went to put the rear tire on today and found that the spacing is wrong and the axle is about 1/2" too...

Interested in the trees, do you know how long the headtube is on the frame they were on? I just picked up a new frame that needs a longer stem than my old one, so if your headtube is 7 1/2" long then I'll take them :)

So I started a build today on a new frame that I just purchased and the headtube is 3/4" longer than on my old frame which is an 81', which leaves we with a tripple tree that is too short :/ My question is, does anyone know what year of frame has a headtube that is 7 1/2" long? I'm assuming it...

So if I were to do this install and use a smaller battery, like the .8amp 12v battery that a lot of people are using, would I be able to run an electric start still or would it be kick only? I also want to install a pamco ignition, if that will make a difference on that subject?
