I was wacking it counter clockwise. I think those other marks a from the original owner. I'll try to hit it with some heat and some penetrating oil as well and come back to it. Yeah i noticed one of the spring posts were missing as well. I was planning on replacing the whole unit anyways.

I've been having issues removing the nut that holds the ATU in place. I've tried waking it with a screwdriver and hammer but it won't budge. It just seems to deform the nut. Any chance you guys have another idea on how to get it off?
