Ive been running one of these small bats. for two years now with no problem, gotta say the price is right. I run two in the electrical box of my Brat one is wired up all the time, the other lying next to it fully charged so if the one im running goes out all I have to do is lift the seat and...

    72' Bobber Build

I think either of the lines the tank follows will look sick, if your concerned about getting the most our of your gas, San Francisco the tank put two exterior bungs at the end, seal up the middle one and last but not least put an extended bung on the gas filler.

Cool!! Good thinking and great modification I really like the way it cleaned up all the unnecessary hose's coming from that afterthought of a crankcase breather.

Would not have a crankcase breather filter have a negative affect?

5twins!! I agree about not needing a filter, but I do live a arid part of the US that has a very arid climate hence allot of dust and at times I do a small amount of riding is on gravel roads, im surrounded by allot of farm land so there is a ton of dust in the air. That in mind I was thinking a...

what to do with Breather tube after pod filter install

pyroman! I like the mod you did on the breather box, Im kind of confused on just how you were able to re-install the baffles and screen. If I cut my box in half there is a small ledge or plate inside that was cast in to the housing itself upon manufacture and wont allow room for the removable...

Would not have a crankcase breather filter have a negative affect?

jayel! Well you were right I took off the breather box and pressed out the two way hose barb, ran down to Home Depot and picked up a 1/2 npt to 3/8 npt reducer then I tapped the breather box with a 1/2" npt tap, and installed the reducer then attached the 3/8" elbow fitting. I have not as of...

Would not have a crankcase breather filter have a negative affect?

Thanks jayel! ill give it a look manana and see if I can indeed yank the dreaded two headed transplant out of there. After I posted the previous I ran across a build thread by thelowlife that had apparently done what you suggested, and installed what looks like one of mikesxs breather valves.

    72' Bobber Build

Hopefully im not stepping all over your build thread here, if so my apologies. The breather box mod you did looks great, the part in the photo's looks like a reed valve set up offered from mikesxs is it not? Can you supply me with some more detailed information on how you cut off the dual...

Would not have a crankcase breather filter have a negative affect?

I hope I dont step on anyone's toe's here but Ive been reading up on breather mods until im blue in the face. Ive been looking for a thread on how to modify the dual outlet style of breather box that most of us seem to have in order to find a solution. According to what ive read there is...

    "Rat Bastards Brat"
