What pipes and filters did you use? Stock headers or single walled? What jetting to you end up going with? I just what to know the approxamate jets to buy. I was thinking two sets of pilots two up and same with the mains.

I got a set of 1979 BS38's coming, I'll order the boots and jets monday. I was surprised I found out my bs34's sold on ebay for $60! That's more than I thought I would get. They don't sell nere as high as the BS38's. I will be glad to ship those headaches away for good!

Can these pamco's be used as just a pickup coil for a CDI ignition box, like off a yamaha banshee? I'm about to just get the points back on it and fight them and get it running right. At least they never went bad. I just can't believe there is already a problem with the ignition.

The timing would have to be WAY advance to fire befor the intake was closed. It would backfire every stroke as well. It is almost always lean or a weak spark. (the fuel doesn't burn all the way, you can get exhust back fires, sometimes both.) Weak spark can make it ignite too. If you timing was...

Hey Pete. Will the pamco run any dual aoutput coil? My buddy has a dual output coil from a Polaris, that should work right?

The pamco seems fine, if I spin it you can't see a spark on the plug, but the spark checker shows a weak spark at evey pass. The coil primary (controle terminal to the 12 volt fused feed) show risitance but drop quicly to zero ohms quick. The wires check from the coil end to the boots 4.99 ohms...
