I have a leak that appears to be around the front sprocket (chain flings oil). I have searched, but not found an answer, and a manual is on its way. How to I snug this up properly?

Put 325 miles on my 83 special today. She ran great. Lost a bar end mirror, and my tach is coming loose, but overall a great ride. Rode most of Route 66 in Missouri, stopped at a great little bar called the Elbow Inn and then took back roads home.
