This is the same idea I had for my 650, but I was going for more of the brushed look on the side covers with a clear coat... Now I'm thinking more on the lines of a gloss black from top to bottom with polished fins, and matte black side covers. But I'm just not sure how it would look.

Anyone know where I can get a kick starter clip?? I've called around with no luck. Part# 90468-26044-00 There's an asshole on ebay selling one for 9.99 with 6 bucks shipping, and the others I saw didn't have the little bend at the top so I didn't wanna trust it... If anyone has a good one...
