    I'd get out a DMM and start poking around for excessive voltage drops and repair the necessary connectors. I'm currently working out similar problems on my Seca.

    Cleaning rust from gas tank

    I like muriatic acid as well. Only problem is you need to immediately line the tank or you get instant rust. I've also had good luck filling the tank with carb Gunk. No rust after.

    XS1 engine dissasembly question

    I got the cam out and head off no problem. It's the cast bit of bracing between the cylinders that's messing me up. I'll probably just break it as I am replacing it anyway. Thanks for the reply.

    Hi guys, currently working on a '71 that I had given to me. Engine was seized but got it free. Then decided I should do a teardown and see if it needed bearings etc. Got the head off, and went to remove the cylinders but there is a brace between the cylinders so the chain wont slide through...
