Are the 80-83 model year motors the same? My bike is an 83 and I have found a 80 motor but want to make sure the ignition and such is the same and it will bolt up. Im pretty sure it will but just making sure. Thanks

I am going to change my cam bearings today i have heard it can be done without breaking the cam chain. Anybody have the secret to this do you just slacken the cam chain and push them on and off one at a time? Thanks in advance Eric

Looking for a motor for relatively cheap that runs with no bad noises like the cancer i currently have. Anything that has the same ignition as an 83 motor will work as long as i can swap it out. Thanks

I am converting from spoke wheels to mag wheels and i have all the parts i need except for the rotor side dust cap that goes between the caliper holder and the bearings. It has to be that side though i tried to see if the other side dust cap would fit but it does not. Any help would be awesome...

I just purchased a rear mag wheel with disc brake and a front mag wheel with a disc brake they are for 78-80 model xs's. my question is when going from rear drum spoke wheel to rear mag disc wheel what needs to be done to get the spacing right? I know i am going to have to modify something to...
