    Help me identify a carb.

    I recently bought a 79 xs650 special with out carbs. Today I found out a buddy has a 83 heritage special that he is chopping, he offered me the carbs but I don't know what kind off carbs they are and if they will even work with my 79. I heard I could use the bs34s or the bs38s. Is that true...
