rephase timing

I've read all the pros and con's for a rephase but has anyone proved a rephase creates more power? I've never seen a dyno test?

trying to get the timing down on the my rephase motor using the pamco system. When using the timing light i notice that im serveral degrees off the fire mark with the pamco plate max out to the left. Any ideas? the bike runs okay the left cyclinger looks okay but the right cyclinder looks like...
