    Replacing shift shaft/lever spring

    Hello, My XS650-H often pops out of gear (esp. 2nd - 4th). I think this may be because of the spring on the shift shaft and lever (Clymer p.80 Fig.7). How hard is it to get at that spring? Is there any post or article that outlines the procedure? Would there be any other reason why it would...

    Bent shift lever problem

    I'm narrowed down my shifting problem to a semi-bent lever. Aside from buying a whole new assembly what options do i have? It seems as though the lever slips out when going to shift, there is nothing pressing it against the case to provide a sturdy position. Any ideas? Normal After...
