Yamaha TX500a Fix or Sell
I have this tx500a I'm thinking about selling. It's currently not running, needs some ignition/electrical work. The engine is free and sounds good when attempting to kick start it. Gauge bracket differences TX500 vs TX650
Does anyone have firsthand information on differences between the TX500 instrument bracket (371-83519-71-98 BRACKET,METER) and the TX650 instrument bracket (447-83519-40-98 BRACKET,METER)? They look the same to me on ebay and in the parts catalog, but I'm sure the engineers had a reason for...- seekarete
