Wanted - 1972 xs2 rear fender mount

Hello,

I’m looking for a rear fender mount for my 1972 Yamaha xs2. One if the ends snapped off the one I currently have. Please let me know what’s available. I’m having a bit of a difficult time finding one.

I tried to do some searching for you. I was unaible to find the factory part number for the fender stay.
There is a dismantler on eBay that has one for a 73 TX650. That might work, there were a lot of parts that were used on both the 72’s and ‘73’s. You’d have to do a little digging to find out.

Oh cool, you found the number. I found the one for a ‘72 in my parts manual.

RH end of that stay is cracked or snapped off at the end of the sleeve more often than not.
