For your perusal, this is a 1974 TX650A survivor, found in a heated garage where it had spent 40 years. The bike then was in completely stock form and any upgrades/changes that I've done are strictly bolt-on. I use the bike as a daily commuter and weekend plaything. Currently the mileage is at 12,000 original miles

2019: 1st year on the road with me New Dunlop tires/tubes, petcocks, stock handle bars, battery, fuel lines, carb kits, tank, front brake pad and used side covers.

2020: New rear Dunlop, tune-up parts, throttle and clutch cables, rebuilt forks (seals, oil, progressive springs), fork gators

2021: Tune-up, Boyer ignition, clubman bars, Texavina cafe seat, H4 HID headlamp

2022: New rear Dunlop, O ring chain, battery

2023: New Dunlop tyres, new paint scheme, Clutch throw-out arm modified to ease operation, grips, clutch shaft seal

The bike is leaking oil from the shift rod seal as I cannot locate an affordable (shipping) replacement. It uses about ¼ liter of leaked and burned (RH cylinder) per 350miles. Of course, the typical starter issues are also present Other parts included: Clymer manual, original tank and right side cover, stock bars, spare clutch cable, crash bars…basically all the stock parts that I've switched out.

I love this bike, it's been quite a hoot to ride and if you are like me, you're gonna feel like a “Rocker” every time you light the fuse.View attachment 248131View attachment 248132View attachment 248133View attachment 248134View attachment 248135View attachment 248136View attachment 248137View attachment 248138View attachment 248139
