This XS650 was originally built by Casino Choppers. The original design was that of a flat track racer. I got this bobber from my father, who bought it from the builder and I attempted to make a few changes so that I could actually ride it around town. I completely stripped the bike so that I could remove the raised foot pegs and move them forward and I also replaced the battery box. I replaced the short handlebars and installed mini aps. The frame was repainted in a flat black after welding on the forward controls and battery box. I started putting everything back together and soon realized that I was way over my head. Don’t get me wrong, I took lots of pictures and drew plenty of diagrams but with my schedule and lack of mechanical experience, I’ve thrown in the towel. Bike was running great when I started the tear down so I have no reason to think it otherwise now. Looking back, I really wish I would have taken it in to have the work done. Hind sight is 20/20.

This thing has been sitting in my garage for 2 years and it is time to let it go. $3,500 and it becomes your project (90% complete). Here is a breakdown of what is on it.
