Just curious, is that bike based off the old sr500's? Nice bike by the way!

The motor is from Yamaha's XT600 I believe. A dual sport Yamaha sold. It's sort of the SR500s big brother . A lot of the other parts on the SRX are out of the parts bin I believe, from bikes Yamaha was already building.
I have a lot of fun on it.
