Purchased a set of combined knee & shin guards when I went to get the bike. Still in the package. In a way, the knees are an Achille's Heel without some sort of protection.

Man, that looks like tons of fun. I forgot how much I used to enjoy trail riding. I never had such beautiful scenery and woods like you guys though. It was all rocky, craggy hills or wide open desert, the kind that encourages you to ride way to fast and then suddenly it’s “Oh crap! I didn’t see that wash! “
The countryside is flat but pretty and it sure was a lovely day for a little ride!

The public dirt roads run up mountains with breathtaking elevations and sweaty inclines.
