Is there a simple and effective way to eliminate that little fuel T that goes between the stock linked carbs on a '80 xs. I'm using a different tank that will need to run two lines. My T has a small crack. Since I have to replace it I'd rather just have an inlet dedicated to each carb.

If you mean a crack in the black part, that's just a plastic coating that is over metal and nothing to worry about. If it should ever leak where it joins the carbs, Pamcopete has a fix for it which involves a bit of tubing as a bush and then squeezing it back together with a large clamp.

Yep that's the one. Sweet. thanks for the tip. I've had no leaking yet.
