Up for sell: yamaha 650 special!
Originally owned by my grand dad who bought it brand new. I now have the bike. Needs a battery and throttle cables to run. Asking 1k or best offer. Selling at a low price because I do not have the title. It was lost during a move. My grand dad is sick and doesn't have the time to Hassel around for a lost title. You can get a bonded title for it. It's a nice bike in good condition for its age. He was the only owner.

If your granddad can sign his name, and if you can spare $2 plus a first class stamp, you can get a replacement title here:
https://www.txdmv.gov/motorists/buying-or-selling-a-vehicle/get-a-copy-of-your-title
They'll mail it to you. Couldn't be simpler, unless you want to go to your nearest TxDMV regional service center, and you'll get it instantly.
The title will add at least a few hundred dollars to the value of your dad's bike, and will save the next owner untold misery and cost.

And open the sale to a lot more people. Many people won’t even entertain the idea of a bike without a title.

Can be a lot of work to get one (depending on the state).
