Hey Guys,
Looking to sell my 72 scrambler cafe thing.
Here's the low down:
Bought the frame 2 years ago, (molested frame, rear had been cut as well as tabs etc.) with an 82 motor. Collected parts and built the bike out of my buddy's garage. Had a lot of fun ripping around town on this thing but looking to sell it and get an xr400.
Here's what's it is:
72 frame, 82 motor, 73 tripple with 74 forks. Rain gutter wheels with shinko 241 (less than 200 miles). All balls steering bearings, new swing arm bushings, new mikes caliper, new shoes on the rear, bs38 cv carbs, bates style headlight, new ignition coil, plugs and wires, etc, etc. It does not have a speedo, blinkers, mirrors, or horn.
Plated and registered until Feb 2015 and starts first or second kick.
Things that need attention:
Carbs leak a little bit when set on kickstand andwiring harness could be redone.
This would be a great bike for someone to complete what I started or a great canvas for a cafe or bobber brat thing.
