o.k...i got the cylinder bore properly measured for my tx and it came out at 75.4. anybody know what overbore that is when i go to buy pistons and rings?
1st over is 75.25 mm., plus .05 mm. clearance takes you to 75.3 mm.; that's .1 mm. (.004") too much slop. Your best bet is to get a pair of 2nd over (75.5 mm.) pistons and have the jugs bored to them. Get the pistons first and take them to the machine shop with the cylinders.
