I have a 76 XS that is getting a new/fixed front brake system. I am keeping the rotor and caliper because of the difficulty in swapping these out, but I want a single brake line going to a new master cylinder.

I need to know what the preferred method of connecting to the caliper is since I won't be using the stock hard lines or hydraulic light switch. I think the banjo bolt needs to be 10x1.25 pitch. Is there a particular fitting angle that works well?

You can get goodridge or Russell brake lines along with any fitting you would need in just about any bike parts supplier catalog.

I know the parts are out there. I thought someone here might have an idea on *which* parts are best in this situation. Or are you saying pretty much anything will work with the 76 caliper?
