Yeah, I was measuring mine tonight and it looks like 5/8" spacers on the outsides will work for my setup.I was looking at using what you have there, but also saw these.

Got the electronics box mounted, pivot and linkage setup, fender mounted, and the air bag seat mounts finished.

Just about ready for powder!

I dropped the frame off at Urban Powdercoating in Chicago yesterday.

Shout out to those guys for hooking me up.

I got the motor soda blased and ive been a polishing fool lately!

got all the covers on the motor polished

and i shaved an polished the fork tubes

Well, I got my frame back from powdercoat and it looks great!

I started assembly on Saturday and got quite far!

I started in the morning witth this

then when we stopped for lunch we had gotten this far

and at the end of the night this is how she sat

Also installed all balls racing bearings on the wheels and neck.
HHB solid riser bushings
HHB PMA
Monstercraftsman chain tensioner

Im hoping to get it finished within 1-2 weeks

Is it typical for headlights to be grounded through the mount? I was looking at mine and it has two wires coming out of it and it is a dual filament bulb. So i assume that is for high/low and it grounds through the mount?

Well, we have started the painting progress.

Man do these cole foster tanks come to you in ROUGH shape!

Got everything primed, going to seal the tank and hopefully get it blocked tonight.

Well, we got the thing painted and cleared this weekend.

I went with Impulse Blue Metallic (its a GM color) was like $80 a pint!

Just need some new floats for the carbs and to finish the wiring and i will be good to go!

Went on the first ride around the block tonight!

Drives great!

The only thing i need to diagnose so far is a slight hanging idle at random times
(slides check out good, i have new throttle seals, and the boots look ok.)

Racked up about 15 miles last night on the bike

the bike likes to die when i have the headlight on (i suppose i need to adjust the idle for when the lights are on?)

How do you like the air bag seat setup?

I only have about 25 miles on it around town. But i would have to say that the bumps are more violent in the front end than the rear!

Well i have about 150 miles on it and the ride is very smooth with the air bags!

i was about 5 miles from home and the bike just died on me, no spark at all.

So i hooked it up to a battery and it fired right over....

I measured the voltage and the new hhb pma is not charging the bike.

I checked between all the wires on the stator and they are all .8 ohms

I also checked to make sure that the 3 stator wires were not touching ground and they were not.

None of my fuses blew either. It just quit.

Does anyone know if its the stator problem or the regulator?
