Been a long time getting to this point.......didn't want to proceed if I couldn't get the stance right. Backbone lengthened an inch, rake increased a bit, hard tail widened and stretched. Wheelbase is 65". Still have to connect the front legs to the head tube. Harley knock-off 84-99 40-spoke wheels: 17x4.5 rear wears a Bridgestone S20 sport bike tire, 21x2.15 front has an Avon Venom. 4-under springer. 1/8" steel seat pan was hammered into shape over a chunk of landscape timber then powder coated. Might do the leather cover this winter. Yes, it's another Sporty tank, but it looks right to me in this application. Thinking drag bars, possibly Z bars. No hurry, it's just good to have a distraction.
