Here's an '83 Yamaha XS650 Heritage Special. Runs and rides really good. It's my daily driver. 18,896 miles on the odometer (and counting). Here's what I've done to it:

1. Adjusted intake and exhaust valves (0.0024 and 0.006 respectively)
2. Adjusted cam chain tensioner
3. Rebuilt master cylinder
4. Replaced seals (main sprocket seal, clutch pushrod shaft and kick shaft)
5. Replaced starter bendix
6. Upgraded clutch needle bearing
7. Secured tachometer and speedometer
8. New battery
9. New ignition coil
10. New plugs, wires and boots
11. Upgraded clutch pushrod to one-piece design
12. New right & left cover gaskets
13. Replaced a few grommets for the decorative covers
14. Cleaned carbs, cleaned carbs and cleaned carbs
15. New float needles
16. New air filters (pods)
17. Replaced numerous fasteners with allen head screws
18. Replaced oil sump filter
19. New oil filter
20. New oil
21. New mix screw o-rings and washers
22. Replaced crankcase breather gasket
23. Shortened crankcase breather tube and added breather filter
24. New starter to crankcase seal
25. New gaskets (drain plug crush, carb holder gaskets and tappet covers)
26. New starter brushes
27. Fixed the tachometer face plate (screws came out)
28. Replaced rear brake switch
29. Added clutch lever bushing (reduced lever free play)
30. New cables (tachometer, speedometer, throttle and clutch)
31. Braided SS front brake line
32. Replaced stock fuse block with new automotive style blade block
33. New tires (@ 18,000 miles)
34. Swapped stock 34 tooth rear sprocket with 30 tooth rear sprocket
35. Removed one link from drive chain (result of 30 tooth rear sprocket)
36. Stepped the mains up one size to 135
37. Replaced swing arm zerk fittings
38. New clutch springs (15% stiffer than stock)
39. Shot blasted carbs
40. New alternator brushes
41. Installed right hand mirror (helicoil)

Only issue is it has a small oil leak (about two tablespoons of oil will weep out after riding). I suspect it is the clutch pushrod bushing as I've replaced the seal. I just haven't taken it down far enough to diagnose the problem.

Clear title in hand and located in Sanford, MI. $2,500. She's ready to run for many more miles. This bike is being sold "as is", no warranty express or implied.

Thanks baxter. I'm selling it so I can give my wife a nice anniversary gift later this month. I can always get another bike.
