Almost done but have a little problem

Hello all. My '81 is close to hit the road but ran into a little snag when I fired it up this morning. Just a quick background... It has the Pamco/PM swap, kick only and a Tripple I battery. When I give it a little throttle the lights dim. I havent had time to diagnose it cuz I'm still at work. I'm suspecting the battery since it sat in the garage since last winter. Just trying to get some ideas before I work on it tonight. Thanks

Check the voltage at the battery when you rev it around 3000 rpm. You should be getting 13+ volts.

Its the battery. When I got home it was at 5V. Fired up the bike and let it idle for 5 minutes and switched on the lights. Its working fine now. Its not tuned yet and have no air filters so it pops when I give it gas. Thanks hotrdd
